About this listing

Shalom Israel Tours provides comprehensive travel services for families and groups looking to explore the Holy Land through a professional lens. Based in the Kiryat Shmuel neighborhood of Jerusalem, this family-owned operator focuses on small-group dynamics, limiting participants to a maximum of 12 people to ensure a premium experience. Their offerings span from Jewish heritage-focused itineraries and classic Israel routes to excursions into Petra. By maintaining a local presence, they offer logistical support starting from the moment travelers land at Ben Gurion Airport, including VIP welcome assistance and professional transfers.

About the region

Operating across the diverse landscapes of Israel, the tours cover major hubs and historic regions. In Jerusalem, the company is situated near the tranquil Kiryat Shmuel area, within walking distance of the well-known Rehavia neighborhood and the Great Synagogue on King George Street. The itineraries typically extend from the coastal urbanity of Tel Aviv to the rugged elevations of the Golan Heights and the unique geography of the Dead Sea. Travelers spend significant time in Jerusalem's Old City, a focal point for Jewish history and home to the Western Wall (Kotel), ensuring a deep connection to the spiritual and historical heart of the country.

What to expect

Participants can expect a high-standard hospitality experience featuring stays at 5-star deluxe hotels such as the Orient Hotel in Jerusalem and the Royal Beach in Tel Aviv. The logistical burden of travel is managed through VIP services, including assistance at passport control and guided transport in climate-controlled vehicles. Professional licensed guides lead each segment, providing historical context at iconic sites.

Regarding kashrut and dining, the program includes a daily Israeli breakfast buffet at each hotel. Scheduled group meals, such as dinners in the Golan Heights and Jerusalem's Old City, are integrated into the program. As the tour caters significantly to the Jewish community, the accommodations selected are known for providing kosher-certified dining facilities, and the itinerary can be customized to meet specific kashrut requirements or religious preferences for Shabbat and holidays like Pesach and Sukkot.
