About
Tucked away in Hillsdale with easy access to downtown and public transit, this apartment is very spacious and can accommodate one or many. The space is simple and practical, with 2 bedrooms and very spacious living room and kitchenette. A large shared backyard with a patio and swing set will make this apartment perfect for a family with children. Easy street parking will make coming and going a breeze.
We are located with in the Portland Eruv and are a short walk to the local Shuls. There are daily minyanim in town as well.
The space:This simple yet fine daylight basement apartment (about 1000 sq ft) will make your stay in Portland very comfortable. One Bedroom has 2 twin beds and a second bedroom has a full bed with room for a portable crib. The living area has plenty of space to add 3-4 beds which is done when more than 4 guests come. The leather reclining couch can be set up with linen for sleeping as well. There is no TV in our place, so be prepared to spend time with your family/ friends! The very spacious living area has a small kitchenette with a small fridge, microwave, electric burner, urn, coffee maker, toaster oven, and George Foreman. A fireplace to accommodate your need to relax and refresh makes our place spacious. Families are welcome and are encouraged to use the Kiddy Korner toys. The spacious backyard and swings are available for use as well. Our place comes complete with fresh, clean comfortable linens and duvet covers, blankets and towels as well as many bathroom supplies that you may need. With brand new central heating and air conditioning, you are sure to have a really comfortable visit!
Guest access:Our family lives upstairs and guests will feel free to come and go as they wish with their private entrance through the backyard. Check in and out times may be flexible with advance notice. Feel free to inquire about that.
Interaction with guests
We are available to help with any needs you may have. As we live upstairs, we can easily bring you items you may want to use (such as an iron and ironing board etc).
About the provider
We moved out to Portland about 13 years ago. Growing up on the east coat, we never dreamed of a beautiful place like Portland. We love the calm feeling that you can experience in Oregon and we would love our guests to experience that as well. We work for the Jewish Community through the Portland Kollel and Maayan Torah Day School. We have hosted on other platforms and are now thrilled to host on Kosherbreaks.com
