The Lake House is a colorful and inviting 4 bedrooms, 2 bath, 1922 sq ft. home on top of a hill, overlooking our majestic Ulster Heights Lake. The Lake House has a living room, den and sun room perfect for large family gatherings and group events. There is also a beautiful kitchen fully equipped with a stove, fridge, microwave, pots, pans and cooking utensils to enjoy meals together.

Guests have full access to our lake for swimming on 2 private beaches, including a sandy beach, as well as our gorgeous campfire area surrounded by wooden benches and stools we made from scratch! We chopped down a tree and created the outdoor seating around the campfire space.

Guests also are welcome to use our canoe and rowboats on the lake for a full nature experience. Fishing is encouraged, and our lake is safe for eating the fish that are caught in it. We grill the fish we catch. Large mouth bass are plentiful here!
Other things to note
Our surrounding forests are teeming with blackberries, blueberries, and edible mushrooms. As a mycologist, I can take you mushroom gathering and help you identify which ones are edible. As a high school science teacher, I can also give you and /or your kids a nice guided hike around the lake with science facts! Please ask after booking so we can prearrange a guided hike and fee.
