We understand this better than anyone. Of course, staying in a great resort and having great programming is important, but we realize that a great dining experience is where a Pesach program needs to begin and end. This is our foremost goal.
We bring you a dining experience that is not only delicious, but also unique and creative. We appreciate the importance of offering a high end dining experience, while never forgetting to include the heimish dishes we all love, as well.
We also feature an incredible 24 hour tea room with too many items to possibly mention, from pastries that just can’t be Pesachdik to slushy machines with brand name flavors, we have it all. Rabbi Shlomo Katz is a Rabbi and a Musician. Shlomo’s professional musical career began when his father, Avshalom and brother Eitan, recorded their first CD: “EILECHA”. Since the release of the CD, Shlomo has conducted numerous concert tours throughout the Unites States, Israel, Argentina, Costa Rica, Australia, Hong Kong, Europe and the Ukraine. In the summer of 2006, Shlomo received his rabbinic ordination from Rabbi Chaim Brovender and Rabbi Shlomo Riskin at Yeshivat Hamivtar, and in 2016, became the Rabbi of the Shirat David Community, a shul located in the Zayit neighborhood of Efrat. Shlomo has a large on-line learning community, many of which interact with him daily.
Shlomo has released seven solo albums, and has published a number of books, based on the teachings of Rabbi Shlomo Carlebach ob’m.

Rabbi Elchanan Shoff is one of the dynamic young Orthodox Rabbis of our age. This is a show that we could easily sell tickets to and have thousand of people joining, but it is closed to the public and only available to guests of Upscale Getaways. It will be an incredibly intimate experience that we are excited to bring to our guests.

We understand that your kids enjoyment can make or break your Pesach experience. We take this responsibility very seriously. Our kids program, whether it is for our day care (ages 0-3) or day camp (ages 4-12), is a major focus of Pesach. We hire a professional company for our day care, so in addition to the level of professionalism and safety they bring, they also have the ability to bring in a private babysitter for anyone that needs it at any time!
When it comes to our day camp (ages 4-12), no one offers a program like we do. A tremendous amount of thought and planning goes into our day camp. It runs every day of Pesach (on Yom Tov and Chol Hamoed) and includes events and prizes for all ages. Every day of Chol Hamoed features an offsite daycamp excursion to one of San Diego's famous attractions. We keep the kids busy from morning to night. We also have nightly events at the hotel that may include movies by the pool, sumo suit wrestling (Its very safe and hilarious!), carnivals and more.
