The Gross and Schechter Families will be celebrating Pesach 2019 at the lovely Hilton Doubletree Somerset Hotel & Conference Center located a short forty minute drive from midtown Manhattan. This Art Deco - style facility has undergone a multi-million dollar renovation.

Each of our 364 oversized guest rooms feature 37-inch flat screen HDTVs with premium channels, complimentary WiFi, a large desk with task lamp, coffee maker, and a full-size ironing board and steam iron.

For the ultimate in privacy and service, the hotel offers seven deluxe suites, each with complimentary WiFi and a range of thoughtful amenities. Our suites are ideal for honeymoon retreats or other small gatherings.

As usual, excitement and enlightenment will continue with our provocative Scholar-In-Residence Program and our youngest guests will be entertained and cared for in our outstanding Day Camp.
Activities & entertainment
Our full day programming opens up a realm of classes that range from basic computer programming classes, new to our schedule, to shiurim, Daf Yomi, Aleph Beta video presentations and current events in the United States and Israel. We have classes on contemporary topics of interest in the Jewish world. We offer classes on defensive driving,
CME classes for lawyers and cooking demonstrations which serve to help you in your daily life. Our scholars in residence are world renowned in their fields. We round out our programming with art and culture classes, book reviews and wine tasting, always a delight to our guests.
...Or pull yourself off the grid and enjoy a game of mah jongg, canasta, a myriad of board games available upon request. Swim or play tennis, enjoy the grounds or explore the surroundings searching for antiques, golf, horseback riding, Camden Aquarium, Liberty Science Center, Statue of Liberty and more. Manhattan is a short ride away if working or playing in "the city" catches your fancy.
Our nights light up with daily entertainment. Marvel at magicians, sing along with musicians. Our shows include wellknown acts and entertainers from around the country. Nightly entertainment always followed with special themed dessert galas, sweet and savory to complete your day.
For children & families
Dynamic day and night camp programs have always been one of the highlights of the Gross/Schechter program.
We understand that parents are only as happy as their kids are, and we provide them with onsite fun, their own computer classes, swimming, carnival and imagination/creation activities. All day game room, bowling and minigolf are sure winners every year for our children.
