Pesach in Vallarta, with over 15 years experience, is a premiere provider of Pesach luxury trips and experiences.
Mati Cohen is an industry-leading program director who specializes in coordinating and running large-scale social and corporate events. With more than 25 years of experience in the hospitality management business, he has redefined the standard for guest treatment and importance of coming together. Most notably, Mati has become internationally recognized for running annual Pesach programs that have reached historically unprecedented successes. He holds a unique ability to convert the world's finest luxury resorts into unrivaled Pesach getaways and has served more than 25,000 people over the years, many of whom would travel across the globe just to experience his programs.
Mati is a program director unparalleled in his passion, experience, and expertise. From his youth, he would travel to work with various hospitality management companies in prestigious hotels. He has worked in a host of destinations across the Caribbean, South America, and beyond.
After studying Communication Sciences at the University of Buenos Aires, he took his next steps in the hospitality business as a scuba diving instructor. He would host divers from all over the world, teaching and taking them on underwater adventures over the Sinai peninsula from Eilat to the Suez Canal. Following this, he worked for the Sheraton chain in Israel as a hotel manager in Eilat. Currently, a typical day for Mati includes spending hours of in-depth Torah study, rigorously training for triathlons, and planning for those special weeks of spring when Pesach comes around.
His passion for family, religion, and having fun is always on full display, whether it be joining a live performance with entertainers at his programs or actively ensuring the religious growth of his children. Above all else, Mati's primary goal in running these programs is to meet, delight, and build deep connections with the families who come spend the holiday with him year after year. Truly driven by his passion for gathering people together in meaningful, intimate and engaging environments, Mati fuses personality, entertainment, class, and pride into every event he creates
