Our kitchen is never left unsupervised. Our food is supervised by Rabbi Rafael Berdugo and his team of skilled mashgichim who work around the clock. Rabbi Berdugo has been the head of the kashrut on Pesach programs for over 20 years. He works full time for the Chicago Rabbinical Council in Chicago and he is responsible for hashgacha and shchita in Panama and Venezuela.

For children & families

Welcome to the Grand Getaways Day Camp! We know that your children will enjoy their time at the Waldorf Astoria Orlando this Pesach. The Grand Getaways Day Camp will ensure that your children are not only looked after during their stay here, but have a terrific experience as well.

Whether it is arts & crafts, sports, special shows or teen trips, your child's counselors and the entire Day Camp staff are working tirelessly to provide the best in programming.

Day Camp hours are daily from 9:30am-12:45pm. There is a lunch break and then we resume at 2:15pm with a pick up at 5:00pm. We offer indoor and outdoor activities and shows that are age appropriate. We also offer activities during dinner hours on certain nights outside the dining room to keep them occupied during chol hamoed dinners. Children's early dinners are served on Yom Tov evenings right after day camp ends.

We are happy to offer day time trips and activities for teens in the evenings
