About

Davidman's Pesach returns to the VERT Dead Sea Hotel in Ein Bokek for Pesach 2027 with a full English-speaking program at a luxury hotel set directly on the Dead Sea beach.

The program is organised by L.D. Events and Lenny Davidman, who has more than 30 years of experience. This is its 11th year at the hotel. It runs from Erev Pesach, Wednesday 21 April, to Wednesday night, 28 April 2027: seven nights.

The hotel has a new spa, new elevators and a newly renovated Kids Club with three themed spaces. A large freshwater pool leads straight onto the beach, and the rooms look out over the desert cliffs and the sea.

All food in the hotel, including every restaurant, is under Mehudarim Hashgacha, with no Kitniyot. Meals range from a welcome lunch on Erev Pesach to the Sedarim, daily buffets and an afternoon Sweet Hour.

Scholar in residence Rabbi Dr. Aharon Adler leads a lecture program with the educational team. Evenings on Chol HaMoed bring two live shows, one for children and a later one for adults. There is free Wi-Fi throughout the hotel.

Lenny Davidman has more than 30 years of experience planning, coordinating, producing and directing events, congresses and tours in Israel, and is known for the personal touch he brings to every event and trip.

Davidman's Pesach is a full English-speaking Pesach program. Pesach 2027 marks its 11th year at the VERT Dead Sea Hotel. Danny Kaizler serves as program director and Arnie Draiman oversees guest relations.

All rooms have air-conditioning, a hair dryer, a mini-fridge, a flat-screen TV, a room safe and a coffee and tea set-up.

Standard Room (no balcony)
21 sqm on floors 3 and 4, facing east with a panoramic sea-view window. Floor 3 rooms have two twin beds and a small sofa bed for a young child; floor 4 rooms have two double beds.

Deluxe Room with Balcony
21 sqm plus a 4 sqm balcony on floors 3–8, 10 and 11, with modern design, parquet flooring and a panoramic sea view. Maximum occupancy: 2 adults and 2 children, 3 adults, or 4 children.

Deluxe Room with Covered Terrace
16 sqm plus a 5 sqm covered private terrace on floors 5–8, 10 and 11, with new mosaic floors and a panoramic sea view. Two twin beds and a small sofa bed; for 2 adults and 1 young child only.

Junior Suite
55 sqm at the end of each corridor, with a bedroom and living room, King-size bed plus sofa, two TVs and a bathtub. No balcony. Maximum occupancy: 2 adults and 2 children, or 3 adults. Guests aged 18 and over have free entry to the business lounge.

Deluxe Suite
50 sqm on floors 10 and 11, with a bedroom, living room, parquet floors, a balcony, 1.5 bathrooms, King-size bed plus sofa, and two TVs. Maximum occupancy: 2 adults and 2 children, or 3 adults. Business lounge access for guests aged 18 and over.

Club / Executive Room (adults only)
25 sqm on the executive floors 9 and 12, for up to 2 adults aged 18 and over. Panoramic window or balcony, Italian wood furniture, work desk and business lounge access. Floor 12 rooms also have an iHome protector.

Executive Junior Suite (adults only)
55 sqm on floors 9 and 12, for up to 3 adults. No balcony; one bathroom off the bedroom, King-size bed plus sofa, free internet and business lounge access.

Executive Deluxe Suite (adults only)
50 sqm on floor 9, for up to 3 adults. Living room and bedroom with a 200×200 King-size bed, balcony, 1.5 bathrooms, a bathtub and separate rain shower, a 32-inch TV, a minibar and business lounge access.

Presidential Suite (adults only, minimum 3 nights)
87 sqm at the top of the 12th floor, for up to 2 adults. Spacious living room with a dining table for eight, kitchenette, separate bedroom with a 200×200 King-size bed, bathtub and separate shower, and business lounge access.

Accessible Rooms
19 sqm deluxe rooms on floors 4–6, for up to 2 adults and 2 children, with a 90 cm entrance, grab bars, emergency buttons and a shower that takes a wheelchair (shower chair provided). Please ask for one of these rooms when booking.

Kashrut & dining

All food served in the hotel (including all the restaurants) is under Mehudarim Hashgacha – No Kitniyot, all Matza products are machine shmura, all products are Mehadrin (except diet sodas!), and Shmitta L’Humra.

  • Erev Pesach welcome lunch (meat buffet)
  • Model Seder and dinner for ages 7 and under
  • First Seder, and the second Seder for second-day guests
  • On Chag (Yom Tov) morning after the Seder: a very light breakfast of coffee, cake, cheeses and more before Tefila; afterwards Kiddush with a meat lunch buffet, an afternoon Sweet Hour and a meat buffet dinner after Chag
  • On Chol HaMoed: half board with buffet breakfast, Sweet Hour and meat dinner
  • A daily afternoon Sweet Hour with fresh fruit, sweets, desserts and surprises such as waffles and crêpes (except on Shabbat)
  • On Shabbat morning and the second Chag: coffee and cake before Tefila, then Kiddush with a full buffet breakfast and a meat lunch later in the day as Seudah Shlishit
  • Guests staying over on Wednesday night, 28 April, get a full meat buffet dinner and breakfast the following morning, with full board for second-day guests

Main Dining Rooms
A full five-star Pesach buffet breakfast with eggs to order. Lunch on Shabbat and Chag, and dinner every night, is a meat buffet with a wide choice of main courses, a carving station, a salad bar and desserts.

Lobby Coffee Lounge
The dairy restaurant in the lobby serves salads, snacks, dairy dishes, ice cream, homemade cakes and Kosher for Pesach pizza, with hot and cold drinks. Open daily from 11.00am to 11.00pm.

Poolside Snack Bar
A meat grill with hot dogs, schnitzel, burgers and French fries, plus snacks, drinks and popsicles.

Scholar in Residence: Rabbi Dr. Aharon Adler
A protégé of Rabbi Joseph B. Soloveichik, zt"l, Rabbi Adler is a Yeshiva University graduate with rabbinic ordination from RIETS and a Ph.D. in Talmud from Bar Ilan University. He made aliyah in 1979. After 38 years as a community pulpit rabbi, he is a sought-after lecturer and leads European heritage tours.

Rabbi Josh and Margot Botwinick
Rabbi Josh Botwinick is a Gemara Ra"M at Yeshivat Orayta and served as Ra"M and Director of Student Life at YU Israel. Margot Botwinick is a Mashgicha Ruchanit at Midreshet Torah V'Avodah. Both are senior staff at Kol HaNearim and founded the JLIC Herzliya community.

Rav Jeremy and Emily Tibbetts
Rav Jeremy Tibbetts is co-director of OU-JLIC Jerusalem and director of education for Yavneh; he received ordination through Mizrachi's Musmachim program. Emily Zimmer Tibbetts is a writer, musician and Torah educator and co-director of JLIC Jerusalem.

Activities & entertainment

A professional team of educators and entertainers runs a daily program for adults, teens and children, led by program director Danny Kaizler.

  • Live entertainment every evening of Chol HaMoed, with two shows: one for children and a later one for adults
  • A special Tish on Friday night and on the seventh night of Pesach, with stories and songs led by R. Josh and Margot Botwinick and R. Jeremy and Emily Tibbetts
  • A lecture program with the scholars in residence and guest speakers, with usually five full-time educational staff

By car from the centre of the country

  • Take Highway 4 south towards Ashdod Junction
  • Turn left at Gedera Junction and continue towards Beersheva
  • After about 40 minutes, turn left at Lehavim Junction and continue to Shoket Junction
  • Turn right, then left after 20 meters, and drive straight to the Dead Sea
