R1 Eternal Rome

Departure from Piazza Esquilino (Bus Terminal) through Venezia square we will reach St.Peter's square (Visit) of the Square and St.Peter's Basilica - Navona Square, a typical baroque square, originally a stadium built by Caesar Domiziano in the 1st c.A.D. Today it is known as the square of the artists and the "Four Rivers Fountain" - The Pantheon, a real architectonical wonder of the Ancient Rome, also admired and studied by Michelangelo, which is also today it's the burial place of Raffaello and of the Italian Kings (Visit) . - Trevi Fountaina work masterpiece by Nicola Salvi (Visit). The tour ends here, (drop off at the hotel not included).

On Religious Holidays the tour will be effected contrarily
On Wednesday due to the Papal Audience the Basilica will be visited only from outside.

R2 Imperial Rome

Departure from Piazza dell'Esquilino (Bus Terminal) - Colosseum, Rome's greatest amphitheatre built by the Emperor Vespasian in 72 A.C. "“ The Capitol hill religious center of ancient Rome. - Piazza Venezia, Rome topographical-Centre with "The Vittoriano" monument dedicated to the King Vittorio Emanuele II in 1911. 

 

R3 The Vatican

The Vatican Museums represent the largest art collection in Europe with over 65.000 masterpieces. "“ The Pio Clementino halls "“ The Candelabra Gallery with frescos and statues "“ The Tapestry Gallery dating back to the XVI and XVII century "“ The Historical Maps, work of Ignazio Danti - The Sistine Chapel built in XV century by Pope Sixtus and adorned by Michelangelo, Botticelli, Perugino and Ghirlandaio (Visit). The Bernini Starcaise of the XVI century - St.Peter's Basilica the largest Church all over the world. Here you'll admire "The Pietà" Michelangelo's masterpiece carveda when he was only 24 years old (Visit).

On Wednesday due to the Papal Audience the Basilica will be visited only from outside.

 

R3 BIS The Vatican in the afternoon

In Rome there are120 kilometres of catacombs (Visit) "“ The Appian way built in the year 321 A.C. with the chapel of domine Quo Vadis.

 

RM5 Tivoli

RM6 Roman Countryside

Piazza dell'Esquilino - Porta San Sebastiano "“ Appian way (312 B.C.), the oldest Roman Road - Castelgandolfo, the summer residence of the Pope "“ Albano, a modern village which overlooks the ancient volcanic Lake "“ Ariccia, a small village located up on the mountains - Grottaferrata - Frascati famous for its production of white wine. Here we will stop for a wine tasting with snacks in a typical country villa.

 

R6B Outlet Shopping Tour

On the Roman hills at about 1 hour drive you'll find one of the biggest and famous outlet centre. It features about 200 discount stores with a great selection of the most known Italian and international fashion brands. Upon arrival at the Outlet you'll receive a 10% discount card valid for some stores and a shopping bag. Departure back to Rome at 7.00 pm on Tuesday and Thursday, at 12.30 pm on Sunday.

At only 30' from Rome, an extraordinary archaeological site, as important and enticing as Pompeii, waits for us: the excavations of Ancient Ostia. This was the city-harbour funded by the King Anco Marzio, at the mouth of the Tiver, and which was later buried by floods and oblivion till to our days.
