General information

The Classic Southern Africa Safari Adventure  is a 9 night/ 10 days package , that takes you on a journey of three wonderful highlights, starting with a safari near Kruger National Park, then moving onto a wonderful stay in Cape Town for Shabbat, and finally ending on a highlight at Victoria Falls.

The Tour starts every Monday,  in Johannesburg International airport, and ends on a Wednesday in Johannesburg international airport

Our first 3 nights are spent at an owner run, intimate  safari lodge, set deep in one of the premier central regions  bordering on Kruger National Park.

The next 4 nights are enjoyed  in Cape Town, including Shabbat,  in a hotel that is very familiar with Kosher guests, in an upmarket suburb, walking distance to Orthodox Shuls, some Kosher eateries, and short driving distance from the ocean, Table Mountain and the Victoria and Alfred waterfront.

The final 2 nights  are up  in Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe in a boutique style safari lodge setting, far away from the mass tourism hotels  of the busy central town, but close enough to enjoy all the major attractions of this natural wonder of the world.

Starts every Monday in Johannesburg International airport, and ends on Wednesday back in Johannesburg international airport, with guaranteed departure based on a minimum of 2 participating guests.

All tours in Cape Town are private, with your own dedicated tour guide. All tours in Kruger National Park and Victoria Falls, are shared with a maximum of 6 other guests in your safari vehicle.

Options to upgrade to private vehicles in Vic Falls and Kruger are available on request, at an extra cost.

They can cater all the way up to Chalav Yisrael dairy, and Mehadrin commission meat. Please ensure you make special mention of this level of ingredient, if required on your enquiry form.

Kusudalweni is located in the central point of a triangle of eco systems, including the Guernsey Bushveld and Manyeleti reserve for 4 x 4 safari drives,  the Kruger National Park for a full day journey into this premier national park,  and the magnificent Blyde River Canyon and panorama route, set above the African savanna in the back round.

EXPERT TIPS

Clarendon Fresnaye belongs to good family friends of ours, owner run, and set in a lovely upmarket Jewish suburb, within walking distance of a few orthodox schuls, and Kosher eateries slightly further down the hill. Kosher meals are delivered by our preferred Kosher caterers, as well as Shabbat meals and are included in the price.

EXPERT TIPS

Stanley and Livingstone has recently undergone a massive refurbishment, and in relation to their 5 star quality, at 4 star prices, and a family who own the lodge, that are empathetic to the Jewish cause, we can only but strongly recommend them as our handpicked option in Victoria Falls.

DAY 9 : VICTORIA FALLS, ZIMBABWE

Tuesday: Morning  guided tour of the Victoria Falls and the protected rainforest within the national park, return to hotel for some refreshments  and then afternoon african village visit  included. Return for sunset, and your farewell dinner.
