The tour starts every Wednesday in Cape Town International airport, and ends on a Thursdayback in Johannesburg international airport, with guaranteed departure based on a minimum of 2 participating guests.
Key points: 5 star quality accommodations, that is focused around Cape Town and then 2 unique safari experiences in Kruger National Park and Timbavati game reserve. The entire package uses small high end boutique style accommodations and villas, with hands on staff, butlers and personal tour guides.
4 nights in Cape Town, including Shabbat, at a lovely villa style, boutique hotel with a handful of rooms, overlooking the Atlantic ocean. Located ideally within walking distance of 2 Orthodox Shuls, and on the foothills of Table Mountain, in a very upmarket Jewish community, and within a short drive of all of Cape Town's major highlights.
Then we will do a 2 stop, 2 safari experience for the next 4 nights.
The first safari is a villa bordering on the actual Kruger National Park itself, set on the banks of the Sabie river, overlooking Kruger National Park.which is famous for being a similar size to Israel, and therefore offers huge wild areas to traverse with expert safari rangers.
in between the 2 safaris we will visit the famous Panorama route, and Blyde River Canyon.
The second safari is in the private safari reserve of Timbavati game reserve, in a completely different eco system. The safari is very well know for close encounters with Big 5, and they have a very high chance of seeing leopard. The safari lodge is a high end, very exclusive lodge, ideally suited for small groups, couples and families, wanting a dedicated team of experts helping them enjoy a once in a life time safari.

Plus we are a 10 minute drive from Table Mountain national park, a 5 minute drive from stunning Atlantic beaches and 12 minutes from the Victoria and Alfred Waterfront.

A trip up Table Mountain is quite rightly one of the first things a tourist wants to do when arriving in Cape Town. Once on the top, a 1000m above the city below, you are rewarded with spectacular 360 views. Take your time and enjoy this unique environment, go for a walk or have a bit to eat at the restaurant with arguably one of the best views possible.
Castle of Good Hope
The Castle of Good Hope is the oldest surviving building in South Africa. Built between 1666 and 1679, this pentagonal fortification replaced a small clay and timber fort built by Commander Jan van Riebeeck in 1652 upon establishing a maritime replanishment station art the Cape of Good Hope for the Dutch East India Company, better known as the VOC (Verenigde Oos-Indische Compagnie).
Gardens Shul
The Cape Town Hebrew Congregation was founded in 1841 making it the oldest Congregation in South Africa and one of the oldest in the Southern hemisphere. It is regarded as the Mother Synagogue of South Africa and is a centre for community events and celebrations. The current Synagogue building, the 'Great Synagogue', is affectionately called the 'Gardens Shul' as it is situated within the Company Gardens just down Government Avenue and a short walk from Parliament. It is a historic landmark for both the Jewish and wider South African communities. The Synagogue building, visited by thousands of tourists annually, is an architectural masterpiece both inside and out and is widely regarded as one of the most magnificent Synagogues in the world.

Part of the Table Mountain National Park that extends from Signal Hill in the north all the way to Cape Point in the south, the Cape of Good Hope is not the southern tip of Africa, despite lying at the south-west corner of the Cape Peninsula, just a little south of Cape Point on the south-east corner.
Cape Agulhas, roughly 150 kilometres southeast of here, holds this title instead. The Cape of Good Hope, however, remains a significant headland in the sense that from here one travels more eastward than southward, and it is not hard to imagine that rounding of the cape in 1488 was a major achievement.
This said, the Cape of Good Hope is one of two world-renowned landmarks within the Table Mountain National Park, the other is Table Mountain. These two familiar attractions are what draws thousands of visitors to Cape Town, not a new attribute to the Cape of Good Hope that functioned as something of a beacon for sailors for years and is still widely referred to as †˜The Cape' by sea farers. the Cape Peninsula, just a little south of Cape Point on the south-east corner.
Boulders Penguin Colony
The Boulders Visitor Centre is home to the famous colony of Jackass Penguins, so called for their hilarious braying call. This is a truly special experience and Table Mountain National Park staff are knowledgeable and offer guided tours. After you have fallen in love with the penguins head to the secluded Boulders Beach and take a swim in the comparatively warm waters of the False Bay.
Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens
On the lower slopes of Table Mountain, the beautiful Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens showcases some of the Cape's rich flora. Taking centre stage here is the unique †˜fynbos' vegetation. Those who work up an appetite while exploring this garden paradise can visit the restaurant or tea room, which are fully stocked with delicious meals, yummy treats and refreshing beverages. In summer, Sunday music concerts provide sunset entertainment. Kirstenbosch is rated as the seventh best of its kind in the world.
Chapman's Peak
Chapman's Peak Drive winds it way between Noordhoek and Hout Bay. Situated on the Atlantic Coast, at the south-western tip of South Africa, it is one of the most spectacular marine drives anywhere in the world. The 9km route, with its 114 curves, skirts the rocky coastline of Chapman's Peak. The drive offers stunning 180 ° views with many areas along the route where you can stop and take in the scenery or sit down for a relaxing picnic.

After breakfast, transfer to Cape Town airport, fly directly to Kruger National Park. 10h35- 13h05. Ranger in 4 x4 vehicle will collect you, and do a afternoon safari drive and picnic lunch en route. Late afternoon check in at our private safari villa overlooking the main river flowing through Kruger's southern region. Welcome dinner

Elephant Point is situated in a region renowned for its natural diversity and concentration of big game, and is undoubtedly one of the best game viewing areas in the Kruger National Park. Morning breakfast, and ranger will meet you at breakfast to discuss the route for the day, depending on the most recent sightings. Head into Kruger for full day, with lovely silver service picnic lunch. Return late afternoon to the villa, and enjoy sundowners overlooking the river, often see elephants bathing directly in front of the lodge. Barbeque dinner.

Southern Kruger
The southern area of South Africa's most famous game reserve is separated from lush farmland by the Crocodile River, a popular spot for lazy crocs, playful hippos and thirsty animals. The game viewing area is known as the †˜Southern Circle' and is renowned for its rhinos and lions, of which there are different prides with definitive hunting techniques and behaviours. Also found here, near the Hippo Pool, are ancient San rock paintings.

It is home to a number of exclusive African-style bush lodges set amidst spectacular African savannah and abundant game including over 40 mammal species, 360 bird species and the famous Big Five. Day Itinerary Tuesday:
Early breakfast, check out and head via 2 of the most beautiful waterfalls in South africa, as well as the largest canyon in South Africa, Blyde River Canyon, before descending down the mountains into the magnificent Timbavati game reserve.
Thjs day tour through what is collectively known as the Panorama route , and is the most scenic route in all of Southern Africa, set high in the mountains above the African savanna.
our route then take us to the Timbavati, which is known for a completely different safari experience, in a different eco system. And one of the key focus areas here will be photography and leopards!
On arrival, we will enjoy a late lunch and then go out on a well designed safari vehicle, hosting a maximum of 4 guests per vehicle, and a specialist safari guide.
Timbavati reserve is known for its Big 5, but also a totally different eco system compared to Kruger. This safari is on private land, which enables us to go offroad, and get close up photos as well as getting out of the vehicle to read the tracks, or enjoy a sundowner. In this specific area, there is a very high chance of seeing leopard, as this lodge has 5 leopards in the region, and its one of key areas in the whole of Africa, to see leopard.
Insiders, or regular safari goers, will tell you, the most elusive of the Big 5 is the leopard, and this area is well suited for these sightings. thicker bush, less open savanna, and lovely acacia thorn forests.

Located in Mpumalanga, South Africa, The Graskop Gorge Lift Company is centrally located on the Panorama Route and is an ideal stopover point, whether it be for the view, the forest, the food or the various adventure activities.
The viewing lift takes visitors 51 metres down the face of the gorge into the forest below, where wooden walkways and suspension bridges meander along a 600-metre trail through the indigenous forest with interactive exhibits.
Under the vivid green canopy of trees lies a lush wonderland filled with a spectacular variety of plants, animals, insects and birds.
The trail has six interpretation exhibits and includes information about the forest. The trail takes approximately an hour to complete. The Lift Cafà© is a spacious, inviting restaurant and bar with a spectacular view.
Berlin Falls
The Berlin Falls plunge dramatically over a sheer cliff face into a deep, wide pool 150 metres below. This spectacular natural phenomenon has been designated a national monument and is one of the highlights of the scenic Panorama route.
Blyde River Canyon
The third largest canyon in the world, the Blyde River Canyon is exceptional for being the largest forested canyon in the world. The views from the rim are spectacular, especially the renowned view that includes the Three Rondavels. There are mountain reedbucks on the escarpment, dassies on the canyon walls, hippo and crocodile in the Blyde Dam and a rich selection of birdlife throughout, including a breeding colony of the rare bald ibis.
Timbavati Private Nature Reserve

Day Itinerary Wednesday:
A typical programme looks like this, maximizing the early morning and late afternoon time frames, to seek out the Big 5, outside of the heat of the day, and when the predators and a lot of animals are active.
Early morning wake up call: 05h30 am
06H00- 09h00: Morning safari drive, with expert ranger. Early morning snacks and hot drinks served before departure, and whilst en route, we stop for a fresh snack and cold drinks.
09h30- 11h30: Return to the lodge for breakfast/ brunch
13h00- 15h00: time at leisure for a light lunch, to enjoy the swimming pool and the cool tranquility of your room.
15h30: High tea is served with lovely light finger foods, sandwiches, sweet and salt pastries, and drinks.
16h00: Head out on the afternoon safari drive with expert safari ranger in safari jeeps.
19h30: Return to camp after sunset, with last section of the drive looking for nocturnal animals and predators such as lion and leopard.
19h30 onwards dinner/ served either under roof, or around a bush barbeque under the stars.
21h00 head back to your rooms. .
