Spend a breathtaking week (August 11–18, 2026) discovering the peaks and valleys of Chamonix - Mont Blanc. Walk near glaciers, around beautiful Alpine lakes, and through majestic mountain passes.

Daily Itinerary Highlights:
* Tuesday, Aug 11 (Arrival): Travel from Geneva Airport to Chamonix Basecamp.
* Wednesday, Aug 12: Hike the Grand Balcon Sud for panoramic views of Mont Blanc.
* Thursday, Aug 13: Visit the Mer de Glace (Sea of Ice) and ice caves.
* Friday, Aug 14: Gentle morning hike followed by lively pre-Shabbat preparations.
* Shabbat, Aug 15: Peaceful Shabbat in the Alps with Tefilah, singing, and learning.
* Sunday, Aug 16: Cross into the Italian side of Mont Blanc (Courmayeur) for an alpine trek.
* Monday, Aug 17: Take the Aiguille du Midi cable car for views at 12,000+ feet.
* Tuesday, Aug 18 (Departure): Morning departures back to Geneva Airport. ]

Kashrut & dining

Healthy, fresh Glatt Kosher meals cooked by the KOA Chef. Hearty soups, plenty of salads, cooked vegetable dishes, fresh fish, and chicken on Shabbat. Breakfast and dinner are served at the basecamp hub, while hikers pack their own trail lunches for the day.

Religious life & Shabbat

Daily Minyan with a Sefer Torah brought from Israel. A complete, inspiring community Shabbat experience with Tefilah, Kiddush, zemirot, lively singing, and TED-style talks by KOA participants. Optional Tisch with stories and Niggunim.

Getting there

Guests fly into Geneva International Airport (GVA) in Switzerland. The KOA bus will pick the group up at Geneva airport Wednesday at 9 am. All participants arrive in Geneva a day earlier.
