Thursday, Feb. 04 -Arrival to Helsinki.

Friday, Feb. 05- Tour of Helsinki with Andre Zweig.

Andre is Finland's only Jewish tour guide. He now lives in Israel, and is joining us for our stay in Helsinki,.

Shabbat, Feb. 06

After lunch, Andre will take us on a walking tour of Helsinki.

After Shabbat we will take a flight to Rovaniemi, the capital of Finnish Lapland

Sunday, Feb. 07

Pick up our protective winter gear at Safartica. Then on to the Sieriporo Reindeer Farm.

A magical experience is waiting for you here in Sieriporo, an original Lapland reindeer farm!

We will travel through the snowy forests and you will have a perfect chance to relax and enjoy yourself.

If you are lucky you might see some other arctic animals in the forest as well.

Korouoma Canyon hike in frozen waterfalls

Hike through snow-draped trails, towering cliffs, and frozen waterfalls that shimmer in the Arctic light - breathtaking winter journey deep into Lapland’s frozen wilderness.

Monday, Feb. 08 -Snowmobiling and ice fishing.

Embark on a thrilling snowmobile ride across the frozen lakes of Lapland and enjoya warm campfire. Experience the excitement of traditional ice fishing with a guided tour.

Afternoon visit to Raanupirtti - A cultural heritage site

Tuesday, Feb. 09- Experience the joy of mushing your own teamof huskies through wintry landscapes!

The husky musher will welcome you at the reception of the resort and walk with you to the kennel where the Alaskan huskies will happily greet you.

Before the start of the safari, thehusky musher will show how to steer your own sleigh. Enjoy the surrounding nature and the silence while the huskies take you to a trip to remember.

After the husky ride we return to the kennel to hear facts and stories of huskies and enjoy hot drinks by the campfire.

Afternoon to the famous Arktikum Science Museum.

An evening snowmobile safari in search of the Northern Lights.

Wednesday, Feb. 10- A full day excursion to the Gulf Of Finland

where we will board the icebreaker Sampo, for a 3 hour cruise in the iced waters of the Gulf.

For those daring souls, change into the protective suits that the ship provides, and float in the freezing waters. For those lesser daring souls - have a game of soccer on the ice.

Thursday, Feb.10- Flights home - Farewell to Rovaniemi

Kashrut & dining

The meals in Helsinki will be catered by Avi Chovav - the kosher caterer of Helsinki.

I have used him for all my tours to Finland.

We will be eating all our meals in Helsinki at Chabad.

The meals in Rovaniemi will be prepared by Daniel Baron, of H. Baron Catering of Amsterdam - the

foremost kosher caterer in Holland.

Daniel himself will be with us in Rovaniemi.
