I was born and raised in Antwerp, Belgium. I currently live and work in my studio in Givat Shmuel and I am a mother of 7 children.
From a young age I have always had a passion and love for fashion, fabrics and colors. Over the years after I immigrated to Israel I drew more inspiration from my art studies at Faith College. And today I run my brand Amanda K together with my husband Michael.
My brand Amanda K was founded about 10 years ago mainly because I felt there was no answer to the demand for modest fashion and especially for chic and colorful headdresses. That's how my business started with headgear - which became my flagship product.
Later I also developed my designs for clothes (because even there it was difficult to find beautiful beautiful items) and other products such as Judaica products (tallit bags, tefillin and decorated arrangements), designed bows, baby products (blankets and bags), modest swimwear and even girls' dresses.
I get my inspiration for designs from everything colorful and one of my favorite designers is Dolce & Gabbana from where I also get a lot of inspiration.
My goal is to create modest, fashionable and comfortable clothes and accessories that you can feel the most in, which is why I always strive to create and innovate my products in unique designs that also follow the fashion order.
