Cassia Jerusalem is a 148-room boutique hotel on King David Street — minutes from the Old City, Tower of David, Mishkenot Sha'ananim, and Liberty Bell Park.
Artful interiors, contemporary Israeli art, full Israeli breakfast, Middle Eastern dining in The Dining Room, and a considered wellness spa (pool with skyline views, snow room, infrared jacuzzi, treatments).
Shabbat
There is no city in the world like Jerusalem on Shabbat. The pace changes. The streets quiet. For many of our guests, it is the reason they chose Jerusalem — and the reason they chose Cassia. This hotel was designed with Shabbat observers in mind from the beginning: in its architecture, in its kitchen, and in the details that make a long, restful Shabbat feel genuinely at home.
Cassia holds glatt kosher Mehadrin certification under the supervision of the Jerusalem Rabbinate. Our location on King David Street places guests within walking distance of the Old City, the Western Wall, the Jewish Quarter, and the synagogues of Mishkenot Sha'ananim and Yemin Moshe — making Cassia one of the most naturally Shabbat-convenient addresses in the city.
The lower three floors at Cassia are accessible directly from the lobby without an elevator — the first floor is one level down, the second one level up, and the third two levels up. For upper floors, Shabbat elevators operate throughout Shabbat and Jewish holidays. Mechanical room keys are available from reception before Shabbat begins.

Friday night Shabbat buffet dinner
Shabbat Dining Friday night dinner is served in the dining room as a generous buffet — the same warmth and abundance that defines every meal at Cassia, with the particular richness that Shabbat calls for.
Walking Jerusalem on Shabbat The Old City is a short walk from the hotel, accessible for Friday night Kabbalat Shabbat and Shabbat morning prayer. The Old City's lanes are quieter than usual. The neighborhood synagogues of Mishkenot Sha'ananim are within easy reach. For many guests, this walk — made week after week, year after year — is the reason they keep coming back to Cassia. A 10-minute walk to the Old City
