The Pankina restaurant located in Tel Aviv at the corner of Gordon-Dizengoff streets is a kosher Italian established by three partners who immigrated to Israel from Italy.

The three entrepreneurs have a background and knowledge in the field of restaurants - Emanuel Deperto is a chef with 30 years of experience in the field; Rami Fadlon previously opened La Taverna del Ghetto - the first kosher restaurant in Rome in the Jewish Quarter of Rome; And Shalom Zrug was the owner of a restaurant in Italy, until he decided to make an aliyah and open a small Italy with a good and kosher atmosphere in the Holy Land as well.

The word pankina in Italian means 'bench', and it also corresponds with the word indulgence. The Penkina restaurant chose a name that plays on the literal meaning along with the restaurant being a place where you can just relax and enjoy the wonders of Italy, suddenly in the middle of the pressure of Tel Aviv.

In the future there will also be live performances in Pankina, but already today the restaurant is a great place to sit with good food, atmosphere and pleasant music.
