Our center in San Isidro offers a specialized dairy kitchen and a full-service bakery. We are famous for our fresh Challah every Friday and our high-quality pizzas made in an authentic Italian stone oven. We also offer a selection of local Peruvian fish dishes (like Kosher Ceviche upon request for groups) and a small grocery store stocked with imported kosher essentials. Perfect for business lunches or travelers stocking up before heading to the mountains.
About the provider
Founded in 1987 by Rabbi Schneur Zalman Blumenfeld (of blessed memory) and Rebbetzin Shterna Sara Blumenfeld, Chabad of Peru has been the cornerstone of Jewish life in the nation's capital for nearly 40 years.
What started as a small outreach center has grown into a vibrant community hub in the San Isidro district. Today, the center provides a wide array of services including a full-service dairy restaurant and bakery, a Mikvah, a synagogue with daily minyanim, and logistical support for thousands of Jewish tourists and business travelers visiting Peru annually. Our mission remains to provide a "home away from home" where every Jew can find physical and spiritual nourishment with unconditional love.

Note: The Bakery usually has fresh Challah and pastries ready by 9:00 AM, while the hot dairy kitchen (Pizza/Pasta) typically starts serving lunch from 12:00 PM onwards.
