About A new era of kosher burgers in the upper east side!
kosher burgers & more delivered straight to your door!
About the provider For two decades, Executive Chef Guy Kairi worked in the intense world of fine dining restaurants. But at the end of the day? He just wanted an immaculate smash burger.
So, he opened Shmash- a Certified Kosher burger joint.
We brought back the nostalgic, unpretentious vibe of a classic burger joint, but we applied 20 years of high-end culinary technique to the menu.
Because we care about transparency, here’s exactly what you’re eating: We strictly use premium cuts of beef. We dry-age the meat on-site to dial in that deep, umami flavor, and we grind our custom blend in-house every single day.
Wash it down with a shake spun from our house-made ice cream, and you’ll get why we’re so obsessed.

What to expect Diners can expect a menu centered on premium cuts of beef that are dry-aged on-site. The "smash" technique involves pressing the beef onto a hot griddle, resulting in a burger with a distinct crust while maintaining a juicy interior.

One of the highlights is a selection of shakes made with house-made, non-dairy ice cream, ensuring that the entire experience remains strictly meaty (Fleishig) according to kashrut laws. The atmosphere is designed to be nostalgic and unpretentious, echoing the vibe of a classic American burger joint while utilizing high-end culinary skills.
