Deli 613 is Dublin's first kosher restaurant in over 50 years. Our menu is inspired by Jewish dishes from around the world, reflecting the diversity of Ireland's Jewish community. Deli 613 is a place where Jews can enjoy familiar kosher food “just like Bubbe used to make” while also providing an authentic Jewish experience for those of all other faiths and cultures. “Tradition, tradition!” is a song everyone seems to know from Fiddler on the Roof, and it is indeed these traditions, whether culinary or religious, that the founders of the Dublin community brought with them from the shtetls of Eastern Europe as they fled pogroms, hoping to start a new life in a new country. Naturally, the cuisine and the traditional dishes prepared there constituted an important part of Jewish life here - chicken soup with kneidlach, cholent, salt beef and brisket, chopped herring. So, if you are Jewish and miss the old favorites, or if you are not Jewish and are looking for delicious food in a warm and friendly setting, head to Rathmines for a delicious dinner.
