"This restaurant should be called LEHAYIM. More seriously, the restaurant I'm introducing you to is in Tel Aviv and it's called Tasting Room; in fact, it's more of a wine bar than a restaurant. As soon as you arrive, you're given a card to serve yourself from machines. It was the first time in my life I'd seen that, and I found it super original. Now, if I liked wine, I would have enjoyed it more, but in any case, Eric and Yeochoua loved the concept. To start, the decor was incredible, and there was an enormous number of wine bottles, and crazy good wines too. Okay, now let's talk about the dishes; don't be like me and pair everything with a glass of wine and not a Coke Zero. I started with the burrata tomato with focaccia bread. Eric continued with cheese toasts, and I think he really liked them. This was my favorite: toasts with a mix of fish and avocado; it was fresh with a little spicy kick, everything I love! Big crush on this wine bar with an ultra-original concept: at the entrance, you're given a card, and you serve yourself directly from the machines. First time we'd seen that, and we found it really stylish. The decor is incredible, walls filled with bottles, and an impressive selection of wines!"
