Located in the 12th arrondissement of Paris, the restaurant Tikoun Olam welcomes you from Sunday to Thursday to discover kosher Franco-Israeli gastronomy. The restaurant is under the strict supervision of the Beth Din de Paris. You can enjoy fresh products and dry-aged meat for an exceptional taste. All in a warm and friendly atmosphere! The restaurant also features a valet service. The values and commitments of Tikoun Olam by Elie and David "Tikoun Olam" or the "Repair of the world" is a central concept of Jewish thought and the constant concern of the Jewish people for social justice. The world does not need to be destroyed and rebuilt, but it is in great need of being repaired, suffering as it does from the harmful and destructive actions of men. "You shall not stand idly by the blood of your neighbor" says Leviticus, which means that at all times you shall be attentive to their needs or suffering.... Thus begins, in small steps, the repair of the world. Of course, we could have called our restaurant "Chez David & Élie" or "La côte de boeuf" without taking any risk. But we are a small team of resolute, determined people who think that the world could be so much better with a little more Fraternity, Love, and Tolerance. Faithful to our convictions, the food in our grilled meat restaurant is kosher under the supervision of the Beth Din de Paris (consistorial authority). Nevertheless, we designed Tikoun Olam as a friendly, very joyful place, open to all, where we sincerely wish to welcome people from all walks of life who will also become friends if they aren't already. As for the food served, whose central theme is wood-fired grilled meat, but which by no means forgets those who prefer another type of dish, largely inspired by Middle Eastern cuisine, we have put all our knowledge and talent into its careful preparation.
