If you want kosher froyo in Long Beach after the beach or a stroll on the boardwalk, it is a place to sit down, meet friends and take your time.

Customers help themselves to nine rotating frozen yogurt flavors and then head to the topping bar, which includes fresh cinnamon buns, brownie bites, pieces of cheesecake and warm chocolate sauce. The shop was opened in July 2026 by Michael Waldman and Judah Spector as a relaxed neighborhood hangout.

Buddies is under the South Shore Vaad, the kosher certifying agency accepted in Long Beach, Lido Beach and Atlantic Beach. It is open Sunday to Friday from 11:00 am to 10:00 pm and on Saturday nights from 9:00 pm to 1:00 am, after Shabbat ends.
