A summer hiking trip (June 24 – July 1, 2026) in the Canadian Rockies designed for active adults (50+). Discover Banff, Yoho, Kootenay, and Kananaskis National Parks.

Daily Itinerary Highlights:
* Wednesday (Arrival day): Start hiking at Banff's Lake Minnewanka Circle.
* Thursday: Traverse Marble Canyon and view Moraine Lake.
* Friday: Hike to Lake Agnes Tea House and the Little Beehive at Lake Louise.
* Sunday: Discover the jade waters of Emerald Lake in Yoho National Park.
* Monday: See Takakkaw Falls and go White Water Rafting on the Kananaskis River.
* Tuesday: Explore Sunshine Meadows.
* Wednesday (Departure day): Return flights from Calgary Airport. ]

Run by Rabbi Dani Epstein, KOA creates outdoor, active vacations for kosher-observant people. With decades of running Jewish educational institutions, Rav Dani pairs breathtaking vistas with warm camaraderie, spiritual connection, and top-tier logistics.

Kashrut & dining

Healthy, nutritious, chef-prepared Glatt Kosher meat and pareve meals. Three daily meals and trail snacks are included. Breakfast and dinner are eaten at the communal hub, while participants pack their own trail lunches.

Religious life & Shabbat

Daily Tefila with a Sefer Torah. A complete, inspiring Shabbat experience with Tfilot, zemirot, lively singing, interactive Torah learning, panel discussions, and an optional Tisch.

Getting there

Fly into Calgary International Airport (YYC). The KOA bus picks up participants at the airport. All participants need to arrive in Calgary on Tuesday, June 23 (the day before) to be ready for the early morning bus departure.
