It is located in the Stornara Nature Reserve, on the Ionian coast of Taranto. The village is equidistant from the airports of Bari and Brindisi (approximately 100 km) and is a short distance from Matera (approximately 65 km) and the Itria Valley (Alberobello is 59 km away).
