Shabbat Times in Woodbury

Halachic note

Woodbury follows the local custom of lighting candles 18 minutes before sunset. The Shabbat-end time shown uses tzeit hakochavim (8.5°). A 72-minute alternative is also shown for those who follow that opinion.

Woodbury, on Long Island's North Shore, features a thriving, family-oriented Jewish community. Shabbat observance is centered around the Woodbury Jewish Center and an active eruv, though kosher food options require travel to adjacent towns like Plainview.
