Shabbat Times in Westbury

Halachic note

Westbury follows the local custom of lighting candles 18 minutes before sunset. The Shabbat-end time shown uses tzeit hakochavim (8.5°). A 72-minute alternative is also shown for those who follow that opinion.

Westbury, in Nassau County, features a growing, family-friendly Jewish community with several active synagogues. While internal kosher options are limited, visitors can rely on a local eruv and the extensive kosher infrastructure of nearby Long Island towns for a full Shabbat experience.
