Shabbat Times in Waltham

Halachic note

Waltham follows the local custom of lighting candles 18 minutes before sunset. The Shabbat-end time shown uses tzeit hakochavim (8.5°). A 72-minute alternative is also shown for those who follow that opinion.

Waltham's Jewish life is centered around the vibrant academic community of Brandeis University, offering a variety of Shabbat services and kosher options through its campus Hillel. The city has a small, welcoming Orthodox shul and is a short drive from the larger Jewish hubs of Brookline and Newton.
