Shabbat Times in University Place

Halachic note

University Place follows the local custom of lighting candles 18 minutes before sunset. The Shabbat-end time shown uses tzeit hakochavim (8.5°). A 72-minute alternative is also shown for those who follow that opinion.

The Jewish community in University Place is served by the Chabad of Pierce County in nearby Tacoma. Visitors should contact the Chabad center for Shabbat services, kosher food options, and hospitality, as there are no dedicated kosher establishments or an eruv in the immediate area.
