Shabbat Times in University Heights

Halachic note

University Heights follows the local custom of lighting candles 18 minutes before sunset. The Shabbat-end time shown uses tzeit hakochavim (8.5°). A 72-minute alternative is also shown for those who follow that opinion.

University Heights is home to one of the Midwest's most established and vibrant Orthodox Jewish communities. Visitors will find a robust infrastructure, including a reliable eruv, numerous synagogues, and a wide array of kosher food options for a seamless Shabbat experience.
