Shabbat Times in State College

Halachic note

State College follows the local custom of lighting candles 18 minutes before sunset. The Shabbat-end time shown uses tzeit hakochavim (8.5°). A 72-minute alternative is also shown for those who follow that opinion.

The Jewish community in State College, Pennsylvania, is centered around Penn State University. Shabbat life is anchored by the campus Hillel and Chabad, offering vibrant services and meals for students and residents, though there is no eruv or standalone kosher restaurant.
