Shabbat Times in Paris

Halachic note

Paris follows the local custom of lighting candles 18 minutes before sunset. The Shabbat-end time shown uses tzeit hakochavim (8.5°). A 72-minute alternative is also shown for those who follow that opinion.

Paris is home to a large, diverse Jewish community of over 160,000, centered in the Marais and the 17th and 19th arrondissements. Observing Shabbat is easy with numerous synagogues, an eruv, and plentiful kosher restaurants and caterers supervised by the Beth Din of Paris.
