Shabbat Times in New Hyde Park

Halachic note

New Hyde Park follows the local custom of lighting candles 18 minutes before sunset. The Shabbat-end time shown uses tzeit hakochavim (8.5°). A 72-minute alternative is also shown for those who follow that opinion.

New Hyde Park is home to a growing and welcoming Jewish community anchored by the Lake Success Jewish Center. The area has a well-maintained eruv, and while local kosher options are limited, it is a short drive from the extensive kosher amenities of Great Neck and the Five Towns.
