Shabbat Times in Ma'alot-Tarshiha

For Friday 2026-10-09

Halachic note

Ma'alot-Tarshiha follows the local custom of lighting candles 18 minutes before sunset. The Shabbat-end time shown uses tzeit hakochavim (8.5°). A 72-minute alternative is also shown for those who follow that opinion.

Ma'alot-Tarshiha is a mixed city in the Western Galilee with a diverse and growing Jewish community. Shabbat observance is centered around numerous local synagogues, and an eruv covers the Ma'alot neighborhoods.
