Shabbat Times in Heraklion

Halachic note

Heraklion follows the local custom of lighting candles 18 minutes before sunset. The Shabbat-end time shown uses tzeit hakochavim (8.5°). A 72-minute alternative is also shown for those who follow that opinion.

Heraklion is home to a small but resilient Jewish presence, part of Crete's ancient Romaniote heritage. For observant travelers, Chabad of Crete is the center for Shabbat services and kosher meals, continuing the island's long-standing Jewish traditions.
