Shabbat Times in Hamilton

Halachic note

Hamilton follows the local custom of lighting candles 18 minutes before sunset. The Shabbat-end time shown uses tzeit hakochavim (8.5°). A 72-minute alternative is also shown for those who follow that opinion.

Hamilton is home to a warm and historic Jewish community of around 5,000, centered in the Westdale and Dundas areas. Visitors can connect with welcoming synagogues like Adas Israel, but should plan ahead for kosher Shabbat provisions and note the absence of a communal eruv.
