Digne follows the local custom of lighting candles 18 minutes before sunset. The Shabbat-end time shown uses tzeit hakochavim (8.5°). A 72-minute alternative is also shown for those who follow that opinion.

Digne-les-Bains does not have an organized Jewish community or Shabbat services. Visitors should be prepared to be fully self-sufficient, as the nearest established Jewish communities are in larger cities like Marseille and Aix-en-Provence.
