Shabbat Times in Commack

Halachic note

Commack follows the local custom of lighting candles 18 minutes before sunset. The Shabbat-end time shown uses tzeit hakochavim (8.5°). A 72-minute alternative is also shown for those who follow that opinion.

Commack, New York, offers a welcoming, family-oriented Jewish community centered around its local synagogues. While kosher amenities require planning and there is no eruv, visitors will find a warm and vibrant environment for observing Shabbat in this suburban Long Island setting.
