Shabbat Times in Chengdu

Halachic note

Chengdu follows the local custom of lighting candles 18 minutes before sunset. The Shabbat-end time shown uses tzeit hakochavim (8.5°). A 72-minute alternative is also shown for those who follow that opinion.

Chengdu has a small, active, and welcoming expatriate-led Jewish community centered around the local Chabad House. Visitors can join communal Shabbat meals and services, but must plan ahead for kosher food and accommodation within walking distance.
