Shabbat Times in Central Department

Halachic note

Central Department follows the local custom of lighting candles 18 minutes before sunset. The Shabbat-end time shown uses tzeit hakochavim (8.5°). A 72-minute alternative is also shown for those who follow that opinion.

The Jewish community of Paraguay's Central Department, mainly in Asunción, numbers around 1,000 people. Shabbat life centers around the Beit Jabad, which supports the community with services and kosher resources; visitors should contact them in advance to arrange meals.
