Shabbat Times in Casablanca

Halachic note

Casablanca follows the local custom of lighting candles 18 minutes before sunset. The Shabbat-end time shown uses tzeit hakochavim (8.5°). A 72-minute alternative is also shown for those who follow that opinion.

Casablanca hosts Morocco's largest Jewish community, centered in the Maarif district. Visitors can observe Shabbat at the beautiful Temple Beth-El, but must pre-order kosher meals and stay within walking distance of a shul, as there is no eruv.
