Cannes follows the local custom of lighting candles 18 minutes before sunset. The Shabbat-end time shown uses tzeit hakochavim (8.5°). A 72-minute alternative is also shown for those who follow that opinion.

Cannes is home to a warm and active an S&P/Mizrahi-predominant Jewish community, centered around its main synagogues and kosher amenities. Shabbat observance is well-supported with kosher takeout, an eruv, and several hotels within walking distance of shuls, especially vibrant during summer.
