Shabbat Times in Barnstable

Halachic note

Barnstable follows the local custom of lighting candles 18 minutes before sunset. The Shabbat-end time shown uses tzeit hakochavim (8.5°). A 72-minute alternative is also shown for those who follow that opinion.

Barnstable's Jewish life centers around Hyannis, home to the Chabad of Cape Cod, which serves a mix of year-round residents and a large number of summer visitors. Advanced planning is key for kosher Shabbat meals, which can be ordered for takeout.
